Loki x Reader From the Beginning (Chapter 6)

        Loki and _______ woke up in his bed. Loki rolled over to see that she was still sleeping he smiled, got up and prepared for the day. He walked into the restroom and washed his face and hands. He walked back into his bedroom and saw ______ sitting up in bed leaning against the headboard, the golden sheets still covering her legs.

    "Good morning, _______." He said smiling. She didn't answer. He saw that there wasn't a happy look on her face, but a worried look with tears gently streaming down her face. "Darling it's going to be ok. I'll be here for you when you find out what it is Odin needs to tell you."

    "It's not that." She answered. "I'm fine just.... finish getting ready." Loki looked at her doubtfully before leaving her side to get his helmet and armor from the maids. He was all ready to confront Heimdall if he returned to his post. His golden armor and helmet shining in the light. He peeked back into his room and saw _______ sitting on the edge of the bed with her head in her hands and she looked like she was crying.

    "Love..." He said taking off his helmet.  He set it on a table and sat next to her putting his hand on her back.

    "Can I talk to you?" She said through her sobs.

    "Of course you can." He answered. She couldn't answer and he felt that she was nervous. "_______ you're shaking. Tell me what's wrong."

    "I-I'm...." She tried to calm herself down long enough to speak. "I'm pregnant." She said and went right back to crying. He pulled her against his chest hugging her looking shocked and a little nervous. "A-are you mad."

    "No darling. Why would I be mad." He pushed her away and looked in to her eyes. "Never in a million ages would I ever be mad at you for something like that." He said sweetly. She managed to let out a small smile.

    "What do I do?" _______ asked nervously.

    "Honestly....I don't know, but I'll be here for you."

    "Sorry I won't get to kick ass with you." She joked.

    "It's ok." He laughed kissing her. "I'd really like to be here with you right now, but I have to go. Read with me later?" He asked replacing his helmet. She smiled and nodded while she got up to go to her own bedroom and get ready.

    Loki walked angrily down the rainbow bridge to the observatory. He saw Heimdall standing there like he should be.

    "Tell me, King Loki, how did you get to Jotunheim?"

    "You think the Bifrost is the only way in and out of the Realm? There are secret paths between worlds to which even you with all your gifts are blind. But I have need of them no longer..... now that I am King." He spat back. "And I say, for your act of treason, you are relieved of your duties as Gatekeeper. And you are no longer a citizen of Asgard."

    "Then I need no longer obey you." Heimdall pulls out his sword and began to attack Loki. Loki stepped back and motioned his hands to conjure the casket. The blue crept up his arms, then the blur cube released it's power. Small screams and howling wind was heard as Heimdall began to freeze. Loki felt nervousness build inside of himself and a worried look clouded his face. Finally, the gate keeper froze in place. Loki breathed a sigh of relief and dismissed the casket as he walked into the observatory. He placed Gungnir into the control panel and left the bifrost open.

    He walked through Asgard and into the weapons vault. The destroyer stepped forward, awaiting command.

    "Ensure my brother does not return." Loki spoke. "Destroy everything."

    The destroyer walked to the Bifrost and was sent to midgard. Loki wandered to the palace and awaited Laufey's arrival. He sat on the throneand requested that _______ be sent to his side. The guards searched for the girls throughout the palace and eventually found her in the gardens reading a book.

     "Lord Loki demand your presence." The Eiherjar guard spoke. _______ nodded and followed the guards to the throne room. 

    "Hello _______." He gestured for her to sit on his lap. She smiled and did he wanted. "Now I know I said we should read together, but I think we should talk about this little guy." He said placing a hand on her stomach. She smiled and kissed his cheek.

    "What do you want to talk about?"

    "Do you know if it's a bit or a girl yet?"

    "No. I've only been carrying a week or so."

     "You know that if I wasn't king, then it'd be illegal. If they found out I impregnated your before I took the throne, one of us would have to serve punishment." He said sadly.

    "Yeah I know...they just won't have to find out. We'll shut up Heimdall." She laughed. "So...what do you think about having a baby?"

    "I'm excited and nervous, just as you are. Boy or girl, jotun or conglomerate, I'll love it anyways."

    "I think I'm more nervous then excited." _______ admitted. "With all the threats of war, I don't know if we're ready to raise a child."

    "I promise you that if anyone tries to hurt anyone I love, the baby, you, Frigga, even Thor..." the look on his face grew angrier every second. "I'll crush their skull, making sure they never see the light of day again. Then, do the same to their families." She smiled and rubbed his cheek. 

    "I'm sure you will." They kissed and his grip on her waist tightened. He replaced his hand onto her belly and lowered his head into her shoulder.

    "I just want you two to be safe." He whispered.

    "I know I'm safe as long as I'm with you." She answered giggling cutely.

    "I promise I will love and protect you no matter what. And I may be the God of Mischief and Lies, but when I make a promise I do not break it. ESPECIALLY when it's to you."
