Loki was getting ready to go for a walk in the gardens with _______, when she appeared in the doorway of his room.

    "Hello, darling." Loki smiled. "Ready?"

"Yep." She answered. Loki took her hand and led her outside. They talked and talked for hours and found themselves sitting under a beautiful wisteria tree. Loki didn't seem like himself this evening. Yeah, Thor had just been banished, but that shouldn't bother him. He wasn't making eye contact or smiling as much as he usually does.

"Loki, is there something bothering you?"

"No." He may be the God of Mischief and Lies, but she could see right through him.

"You know you can tell me anything right?"

"Yes, I know." He answered. She grabbed his hand an intertwined her fingers with his.

"Then why don't you. I know there's something wrong I can read you like a book. And that's a metaphor you should understand." He chuckled.

"Ok this is probably going to be the most peculiar thing you've ever heard. Ready?"

"I've heard Thor sing, I think I can hear anything without thinking it's weird."

"Ok well when I was on Jotunheim, a frost giant grabbed my arm, but I didn't get frost bite. My arm turned blue...jotun blue."

"Woah...what do you think of that?"

    "I don't know. Maybe I am cursed."

    "What else could it be?"

"Nothing that I could think of. Unless...I'm a Frost Giant." They looked at each other. "Nah. look at me." He let out a fake laugh. "I'm to short."

"You still seem uncomfortable. Is there something else?"

    "No."

"You sureee?" _______ begged leaning on him and slowly kissing him over and over again behind the ear.

"I'm one hundred percent sure." He laughed. "Let's get back to the palace. I've got to do something."

They walked back to the palace and _______ knew Loki was up to something. She turned invisible once he dropped her off at her room. She followed him to...the weapons vault?!

"What are you up to?" She thought. She watched him walk up to the casket and grasp it, the blue color of the jotuns taking over his body, his eyes turning a dark red color. He looked confused and scared, then heard Odin's voice.

    "STOP!" He shouted.

    "Am I cursed?"

"No?" Loki let go of the block and turned around, the blue leaving his body.

    "What am I?"

"You are my son." Odin answered simply. _______ hid in the corner even though invisible, watching with a look on concern.

"What more than that? The casket wasn't the only thing you took from Jotunheim that day, was it?"

"No. In the aftermath of the battle, I went into the temple, and I found a baby. Small for a giants offspring. Abandoned. Suffering. Left to die. Laufey's son."

    "Laufey's son?"

    "Yes."

"Why? You were knee deep in Jotun blood. Why would you take me?"

"You were an innocent child." Odin said still calm.

"No! You took me for a purpose. What was it?" Loki waited for an answer but none came. "TELL ME!" He shouted.

"I thought we could unite our kingdoms one day. Bring about an alliance. Bring about permanent peace, through you."

"Wha-?" He asked in a soft voice.

"But those plans no longer matter."

"So, I'm no more than another stolen relic? Locked up, here, until you might have use of me!"

"Why do you twist my words?"

"You could have told me what I was, from the beginning! Why didn't you"

"Because you're my son. I only wanted to protect you from the truth."

"What? Because I...I...I...I'm the monster that parents tell their children about at night?"

"No! No!" Odin argues slowly lying down. He spoke so softly it was almost inaudible over Loki's rant.

"It all makes sense now. Why you favored Thor, all these years! Because no matter how much you claim to love me, you could never have a Frost Giant sitting on your throne of Asgard!" By now Odin had fallen to the ground, and Loki realized that he had fallen ill. He reached down to him and softly grabbed his hand.

"GUARDS! GUARDS! PLEASE, HELP!" Loki called. The guards rushed in and took Odin away, leaving Loki on the stars kneeling. Crying.

"Loki." He heard a soft voice behind him. "It was _______."

"You saw?" He choked out through tears.

"Yes." She briskly, but smoothly walked to his side and crouched beside him. She enveloped him in a hug and let him cry in her arms before speaking.

"I love you." She mumbles sweetly in his ear.

"No! How could you love a monster?"

"I don't." Loki looked at her with sad eyes.

    "What?"

"I love you, and you are not a monster." She wiped the tears that were falling from his eyes.

    "Then what am I?"

"Future king of Asgard....my love..." She placed gentle kisses on his temple and wrapped her arms around him tighter.

"You're so good to me." He whispered in her ear. "I love you."

"I love you too and I will never leave you."

"Come here, my _______." He said picking her up and carrying her to his chambers. C:
